Day 6 In Hong Kong

After our breakfast this morning, we went to Causeway Bay for some shopping as parents would like to buy some cookies back for themselves and relatives. We went to SOGO shopping centre where at the basement (supermarket) you can find several good local brands cookies.

We certainly can get them at the airport but we would prefer to have them packed into the luggage so that we can be hands free during our departure. We took our time to walk around Causeway Bay and parents were shocked to see so many people on the streets even on a weekday during working hours.

Since we were still pretty stuffed from our breakfast, we skipped lunch and had our tea instead. We were lucky to get a seat at Star Bucks and sat there to rest.

We left hotel earlier than usual as we planned to visit the dry good shop at Sheung Wan again. Mother in law wanted to stock up some more dry goods for CNY and she bought not much but quite a bit again.

We returned to Lian Heung Kiu for dinner this time after tasting their delicious dim sum few days back. The restaurant wasn’t crowded during dinner compared the other day when we came for dim sum.
Hubby ordered some of their signature dishes like the minced pork with salted fish, roast meat, fish (Lung Dung) with broccoli & steamed tofu with smoked duck. We too ordered braised E-fu noodles and the food were great! Little Faith enjoyed the noodles so much that she had 3 servings of it. We will definitely be back in the NEAR future…

After dinner, on the way back to hotel, hubby & I dropped by at our favourite dessert store to get my steamed milk. Little Faith & I shared the steamed milk in our comfortable hotel room... YUMS!!!!!
