Lady Faith’s Ballet Exam

Lady Faith was examined from school as she was preparing herself for her ballet exam which she had practiced so hard for. This morning when she woke up, she told me that she was happy that she did not need to attend school but was nervous over her exam which will commence in two hours’ time.

Hubby & I decided to take leave to give our little ballerina moral support and to calm her nerves. We arrived slightly early for the warm up and we left to have our lunch before heading back to fetch her.

During our luncheon, we too were very excited for her and we just prayed that she will keep calm and do well. When we returned to fetch her, she was all smiles with her teacher Ms. Tan and she told me that the judges were nice to her.

My Little Ballerina

It’s almost the time of the year where my Lady Faith will be taking the ballet exams for the second time. She has been attending coaching classes every Sunday evening and missing the opportunities to visit her grand-parents and playing with her cousins. It was indeed hard work for her.

Today, we were invited to view what the girls had been practicing for the last six months and as parents, we are very excited. When we entered the exam studio, I could almost feel the pressure of being judged. I am very proud of Faith that she was all prepared for this and at this tender age, she was able to go through the exam with confidence.

I was in awe when I saw her dance though it wasn’t the professional sort but she is already a PRO in our eyes. J I got to admit that there are some mistakes made but it was all good for me and if I were one of the judges, I would give them a full mark.
