Disney ‘LIVE’

Faith has been a great fan of princesses and fairies since she was about 3 years old when she got her hands on iPad.

I have always wanted to bring her for Disney On Ice but somehow it failed twice so, I wouldn’t want to let her down this time when Disney ‘Live’ came to Singapore and what’s best… they included the 3 princesses stories…

I planned it with my sister-in-laws as it will be fun to watch it together with her cousins. We went for the afternoon show and man... it was a total sell out. The seats I chose were pretty good for that expensive tickets but I am happy that our view was clear and we had the six seats all by ourselves. J

The show was not too bad started off with the story of snow white and followed by Cinderella. After a 15 minutes interval, the show continued with The Beauty and The Beast which I thought was the best among the 3 stories.

Faith enjoyed herself so much that she wanted to watch it again and I guess we will be going for the Disney On Ice next… J

Go Italian

Boss is expecting some VIPs next week and he invited us to inspect the Italian restaurant which he is planning to take his guest. Today, we are here at Oso Ristorante expecting for a good feast out… J

I was asked to ‘study’ the menu while my boss checks out the wine collection at their wine cellar. I browsed through the menu and selected some of their signature & our favourite dishes. I went with a selection of cold cuts of course and followed by 2 pastas & 1 risotto.

The cold cuts were good and portion was great for the four of us. Pastas tasted as good as it looked but I thought the risotto was slightly salty though it was equally good. Then our main dish cod fish was served shortly and I would give it a 7/10.
As for desserts, we had tiramisu, panacotta and 2 flavours of ice-cream. The tiramisu was really good in my opinion and so was the panacotta. I would say that I would really be satisfied if they have crème brulee too…

We had fabulous luncheon indeed and I am sure we will be back again for dinner soon. J

Site Inspection At Fullerton Bay Hotel

This is one hotel that I have always wanted to view after reading and hearing so much about it through friends, media & even clients. Jessica kindly arranged the site inspection soonest before I take my maternity leave.

Monica who is our Sales Manager waited for us at the lobby when we arrived and started showing us around the property. It gave me the feel that I was in a cruise ship rather than hotel. The design was nice and cozy indeed. The rooms were great though not too spacious for the high price we expect to pay…

After a quick site inspection, Monica invited us to dine at their newly revamped café, The Clifford Pier which served local cuisines. We were given the green light to order anything or infact everything on the menu… hahahaha…but of course, we ordered what we wanted to try and some to share.

I would say that the food served at The Clifford Pier was ordinary and nothing really special about it. I tasted better local cuisines at other hotels and I think they should add more interesting items on their menu such as Nasi Briyani, Dim Sums etc…

I like the hotel overall though I would minus the food unless they improve…hahahahaah
