Birthday Celebration

It’s my Love’s birthday today and I brought him to dine at Otto; one fine dinning restaurant that I like pretty much.

When we arrived, it was quite quiet on a Tuesday evening and only a couple of tables were filled. I would definitely prefer that as it actually made it more romantic and cozy… As soon as we were seated, the warm and friendly staff had our table set up immediately and brought us some water and bread.

Hubby was kind of lost when he saw the menu as he had no idea what to have and finally, I had the honor to decide. We ordered ‘Ripe Italian tomato, ‘Burratina’ cheese and ‘Pio Tosini’ Parma ham and Wagyu beef ‘Carpaccio’ with parmesan cheese and mushroom salad. I simply enjoyed Parma to the fullest though hubby thought otherwise. He found it too salty and wasn’t that special. However, he kind of like the Wagyu beef carpaccio.

While resting our stomach, our pasta arrived… we had Spaghetti with sea urchin and grey mullet bottarga which is one of my favorite. It was so good that I would like to take the chef home! Haahah…. It was hubby’s first time tasting sea urchin and he mentioned that it was weird but delicious… The ‘NOT’ in the menu Porchino mushroom Risotto was fantastic! It was the best Risotto ever!!! THUMPS UP UP UP UP UP!!!! The texture of the risotto was like baby food but was the EXTREMELY tasty ones.

Being over ambitious, we were too full to have any space for desserts; just sat there stunted! Hubby enjoyed the food pretty much except for his complain on the Parma Ham! Alright… no more Parma ham next time… will let him stick to his ‘HONEY BAKE HAM’…

It was indeed an enjoyable and romantic dinner with the lights dimmed and quiet environment. Hope you enjoy your simple birthday celebration.

Happy Birthday baby and Love you always…*muaks*

What A SUNDAY!

It’s been ages since my last photo shoot for magazines and after so many year, I could do it all over again but not for any magazines; for FUN!

Belle, my wonderful buddy and cool photographer invited me to be their model for a day. I was delighted to know that I am still able to be someone else’s model. Met them early on a cooling Sunday morning and the exciting shoot began…

The location was simply normal and centralized but was really amazed by how the beautifully the pictures turned out to be. It did not look anything like the venue and some pictures were very high fashioned like too.

I was really enjoying myself during the shoot with all those silly poses and some which I thought was not too bad. Thanks to David who is the other photographer and helper… who create the ‘wind’ effect with the cool blower! It was just amazing! The shoot lasted for a cool 2 hours of fun and laughter.

Thank you Belle and David for the wonderful time! It will be my pleasure to be your model once again…

Cheers!

Happy Birthday Mummy Dearest

Last night we brought mum to have dinner at Ivin's and thank God we made a reservation or we might have to wait about forty-five minutes.

It was mum's first visit to Ivin's and unfortunately most of their popular dishes were sold out... Nevertheless, we managed to have Curry Fish Head, Ayam Goreng, Crab Meat Omelette and Curry Chap Cai...

Happy Birthday Mummy and hope you enjoyed the dinner... Love ya.

Happy Birthday Mummy

Our most warmest and bestest birthday wishes going out to our dearest mummy. May you be blessed with many happy moments, joy and best health always.

We Love You Always. *muaks*

Birthday Celebration

July is one of the most popular months for birthdays and yes, we are celebrating father-in-law’s birthday today!

We went to Beng Hiang for dinner and we were surprised that they have given us a private room when we arrived. The restaurant wasn’t full but somehow quite crowded. The room was cozy and big; comfortable to sit at least about 12 adults.

Our cold dish was fantastic and portion was good for about 13 adults. By the fourth dish, we were already full… Yes, the portion was pretty big and the quality of the food was great. Personally, my favorite was the roast chicken and the fish maw soup. Dessert was yam paste with sweet corn which was very different from the usual yam paste.

As usual, Gen is always ready to pose whenever she sees the camera... very cute! Nick on the other hand was busy playing his game.

We had round two of dessert which was the birthday cake for father. Maggie brought the cake and it was chocolate cake which was pretty tasty.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Lin-Chan’s Birthday

Birthday girl was on half day this morning and we decided to plan a small party for her since she has treated to lunch yesterday.

Ah K & I went to get her a cake from Bakerzin and had it prepared at our very own meeting room. When she came to the meeting room, she was surprised to see the cake we prepared for her. In fact, she mentioned to me that she already had her birthday party at Agnes’s place so, there is no need to have anymore cakes… (She was so sweet; she brought us cookies from Cedele!)

Anyway, we sang her a birthday song and made her cut the cake… though it was a small party but it was fun la…
