Dinner Gathering

Minowa-san was so kind to arrange a dinner gathering for us at Shima Restaurant. When we arrived at Shima Restaurant, Rie & Zhong Li were already there chatting with Minowa-san and his cute wife.

It was a Japanese Tatami style private room and they were so kind to get the waitress to prepare cushion for little Faith. She was all excited to see new faces again but cried when Minowa-san carried her…. hahaahah… Somehow, she was pretty comfortable in the hands of Mrs. Minowa and even had a picture taken.

After a short warmed up, Rie tried her luck on Faith and managed to keep her hands on her for quite a while. Minowa-san ordered the food on our behalf and it was simply delicious! I enjoyed the dried sting ray fins and the baby shrimps man… it was really YUMMY! Then the sashimi came along with fresh oysters which was pretty nice too.

Faith was the main attraction for everyone in the room and Rie can’t seem to get her hands off her as she has so much fun taking pictures of her… best part, Faith was willing to play with her until she got tired of her… hahahaahah…

Not long after the tempera, the waitress was kind enough to cook our vegetables for the shabu-shabu for us in the next room and served us. I enjoyed the food very much and man… the sauce for the shabu-shabu was super YUMMY!

After Faith’s milk, everyone was enjoying her ‘singing’ while we were having our desserts and she was in the world of her own… kekekekeek…

Thank you Minowa-san for the wonderful dinner gathering and the beautiful gift for Baby Faith!

Birthday Celebration

We were honored to be invited to join Aunty Sarah’s birthday celebration. Though it was a belated one but guess it’s better late than never.

We arrived at Theresa’s place in the evening and it came as a surprised to them coz’ it was supposed to be a family affair… we were really blessed to be part of it. In fact, it was their 1st time seeing Faith in person rather than seeing her pictures on FB.

Aunty Sarah and the rest were so excited about Faith and I totally understood how they felt as the family has been praying for us to have a child for the longest time… Yes, PRAYERS do get answered. Faith was so unfamiliar with new place and faces started her concert not long after we stepped in. Some lucky ones managed to get a picture with her… hahaahahah

Anyway, it was a steamboat cum hot plate dinner which is quite a popular at her place. We enjoyed the fantastic spread of food they placed on the dinning table and man… for a moment; I felt that it was high class Seoul Garden! We enjoyed conversation at the dinning table and it has been a long time since we last done that. Francis, do that again hor….with the RAMBUs next…

During the cake ceremony, it came as a surprised for Leticia and she cried as she wasn’t prepared for it. All the while, she thought it was a birthday party for her grandma but didn’t know that she was involved too… awwhhh….

It was once enjoyable party though we have to leave as Faith needed her beauty sleep before she turns the night into a real HALLOWEEN! Hahaahahahaah…

Happy Birthday once again to Aunty Sarah and Sweetie Leticia! Thank you Threz for having us for this wonderful occasion!!

Belated Birthday Celebration

Everyone has been busy with their own work and we did not forget our dearest mummy’s birthday which was on 23rd October.

Linda kindly arranged a belated birthday celebration at Noble House which they served a-la-carte buffet. We were able to order as much as we can… as usual, Linda wanted to try all 44 items!!! Of course we didn’t manage to do it…

We ordered so many dishes till I can’t recall what we ate!! It was really great to see mummy again and seeing a brand new happy her was such a relieved. She went to Italy for a holiday and she came back telling us that she will be attending RCIA next year which made me even happier! Kekeekekek….

The food at Noble House was great and we all enjoyed ourselves very much… Will be back there for lunch….*winks*

Happy Belated Birthday mummy dearest.

Lunch At Paradise Inn

City Square Mall became the latest addition to our hang out place with Faith. It took us by surprise that the mall wasn’t as crowded as what we expected as it was located in Little India.

Anyway, we planned to dine at Sushi-Tei but we came across Paradise Inn which served Cantonese Cuisines. We were delighted to try as the place was not so crowded and the space for a pram was pretty spacious.

Hubby ordered the some of their specialty like pig’s trotters’ bee hoon, spinach with three types of eggs and their hor fun with egg. The sweet & sour pork was not too bad but wasn’t as tasty as others we tried. My favorite among the dishes would be their hot plate tofu. The tofu was so soft that it melts in your mouth…. SUPER YUMMY!

For desserts, I shared the almond cream with mummy and it was really smooth and nice. Hubby tired the black sesame cream which he enjoyed very much too. Overall, lunch was fantastic at this new found Cantonese Restaurant. We will definitely be back…

Happy Children's Day

Our 1st Children's Day celebration with Faith started off with her 2nd vaccination at the clinic early this morning. This time, she was brave… she cried only for a couple of seconds and stopped when she saw her toy ‘Sophie’ hahahaah…

As the nurse told us that she might get fever after the vaccination, we monitored her temperature as closely as possible. True enough, she developed fever when the sun went down but she was still very active… dun behaved like she was uncomfortable.

Anyway, she celebrated her 1st children’s day with a ‘flip’ on her grand-ma’s bed after changing into her pajamas. Well done sweetheart!

Happy Children’s Day sweetie! Mummy, Daddy, grandparents, aunties & uncles love you dearly.
