A Beautiful Day At Montigo

It’s really great waking up in the morning overlooking the sea view from your room all peace and quiet. Ahhhh… wonderful!!

We headed for our breakfast and the kids were eating like adults. They enjoyed the cookies, porridge, pastries served at the cafĂ© while I had just simple bites. I noticed that there weren’t many people at the resort compared to my last visit with my friends.

After breakfast, we strolled around the resort near the breakfast place and took a walk to the jetty. It was a beautiful sight and simply relaxing with the wind blowing through your hair. I wish I could stay at the beach area longer but our kids were demanding us to get back to our house for a dip!
We headed back to our room at the request of our little bosses and as you might have guessed, they were in their swim wear in less than 60 seconds. Lady Faith was seen in the pool even while I was getting changed into my swim wear… hahaahahahahah
Baby Emma was also enjoying the dip with her sister and had a ball of a time splashing water at each other. She wasn’t afraid of the water and we were able to leave her alone in the pool playing while we rested by the side of the pool. J

We managed to get the kids out of the pool though it was rather difficult and we managed to rest while they were taking their naps. We wrapped up the day by having a wonderful dinner at one of their restaurant which served pretty good food.
We headed back to our room and the kids continue to play on their own while we enjoyed some wine and cheese.

Short Get-Away To Montigo

Early this year, I had a super enjoyable trip with my best buddies at Montigo Batam and this time, I am back again with my family. Been barking my hubby to visit this beautiful resort and Ta Da… here are we today!

We arrived in the afternoon and were lucky that our room is ready for check-in almost immediately after registration. Our kiddos were so excited the moment they entered the house as they noticed that there was a pool outside the living room. They were not interested to check out the room and the huge balcony on the 3rd floor.
They were so quick to change into their swim wear and commanding their father to get ready the floats for them so that they can be in the pool immediately! While the dad is attending to them, I unpacked the stuff in our bags.

We were surprised to find Emma reacting calm in the pool as that would be her 2nd time swimming. She was really happy and didn’t want any help as she started to kick her legs and getting herself balanced in the water.

We spent the rest of our afternoon in the pool and it was extremely relaxing indeed. After long hours in the pool today, our kids were tired and finally got in bed early after our dinner and we managed to spend some couple time chatting in the living room with our wine. J

Lady Faith’s Swimming Lesson

She was reluctant to learn swimming initially but was inspired by Joseph Schooling. It was her first lesson today and though she was excited but scared at the same time.

When we arrived early at the pool today, we met up with her lady coach, Ms. Samantha Ho who was nice and told her to get into the pool immediately while I fill up the registration forms and did the payment.

It was interesting to see how our lady Faith reacts to Coach Ho. She was calm and attentive to what the coach was trying to teach her. I was really happy to see that she was feeling happy rather afraid.
I hope she will learn how to swim on her own soon so that she can join me in the pool. J

Keep up the good work darling!

Dinner Gathering With The Ngs

We were happy to know that the Ng Family was in town for a couple of days and we were thrilled that they are able to meet up for a short dinner session.

We had dinner at Rhodri located at Four Points by Sheraton at Riverview and we were happy that the restaurant was not crowded and at the same time, we were given a corner window seat. Woohoo!!! The buffet spread is usually good and we placed orders for many signature dishes.

The kids were happy fun meeting up each other and enjoying the bonding time together. We were glad that the Ng family enjoyed the food pretty much.

Faith & Bella were almost inseparable from the moment they met. They were like twins, eating the same food, sharing the same phone to watch a show and couldn’t stop chatting… while baby Emma was enjoying her food happily.

Thought it was a short dinner session but we certainly had a great time catching up with each other and discussing about our plans to visit Perth this December.

See you soon in Perth!

Lady Faith’s First Bike Experience

Lady Faith has been asking us to get her a bicycle as she wants to learn cycling. We thought this would be a good sport or hobby for her to pick up and decided to get her a bike.

Girls being girls, she chose a pink bike and she loves it. She was so excited about her bike when we brought her down for a ride. It was a first time on the bike and minor accidents are somehow unavoidable. She fell twice and hurt her knee but she was brave and continued to learn to ride.
I guess she will need more practice to master the skill of riding and balancing the bike.
