Family Shoot

This would be our 2nd family photo shoot since the last one back in year 2009. We engaged Belle & Dave once again as we think they are the best.

This time, we too engaged my buddy Rie who did our make-up and hair. I am really happy that I have a bunch of talented pals around me. I must say that both did a great job for both make-up and photos.

Trip To LegoLand

We set off to Legoland after our breakfast and it was about 10 minutes’ drive from our hotel. When we arrived, we were relieved to see fewer crowds on a weekday morning and we managed to get our tickets within minutes.

Our kiddos got extremely excited the moment they stepped into the theme park and as for us adults, we were pretty neutral as the weather was pretty hot. We stopped over to queue for the boat ride which was quite interesting and relaxing apart from the weather.

We tried out some of the rides in the theme park but somehow it was not as interesting as we expected. I would say that this park is not really that elderly friendly as there is very minimum shelter around and most of the rides are outdoors.

To the adults, it was nothing amazing about the park but exciting to the kiddos who enjoys rides and outdoor.

Family Trip To JB

We were planning to visit Korea this year but since I am pregnant, we ended up a road trip to JB instead. The kiddos are looking forward to this trip as our main place of interest would be Legoland. We set off to JB on a super HOT Wednesday afternoon and it wasn’t a long drive to JB. The traffic was really smooth and it took us about 30 minutes to reach Traders Hotel Puteri Harbour. Traders Hotel, a newbie in JB and located in one of the Hot area in Iskandar. We did not take long to check ourselves in and the hotel room was cozy and comfortable. Some went to check out the surroundings while the rest took a short nap before heading out for dinner. Brother in law hosted Chinese dinner and it was simply tasty though the waiting time was somehow ridiculous! Everyone went back to hotel full and tired after a day’s event. We will be looking forward to Legoland tomorrow!

Dinner At Pietro Ristorante

I have been recommending this place to my boss and colleagues and finally we are here today!

Boss suggested that we should try to have happy hour once a month and it will be good to try out new places. My super considerate boss mentioned that we should dine somewhere near my home for I am pregnant and it will be convenient for me.

We arrived at Pietro and it was not too crowded but many tables were filled up at such early evening. As I have been here many times, boss gave me the green light to order the recommended dishes while he took charge of the wines.

For starters, we ordered the burratina cheese with selections of ham & olives, grilled octopus tentacles and their signature Real Mushroom Soup. It was simply something you got to try when you visit. As for the pastas, I ordered the squid ink pasta, truffle oil risotto and truffle oil pizza which was totally thumps up for all.

Then for mains, I ordered the beef cheek and the grilled cod fish to share. However, my boss was so ‘high’ that he did not stop eating and requested to order some more food. We were all in shocked but we decided to order lava cake as our desserts instead of more mains.

I was really glad that everyone enjoyed the food and fellowship tonight though I did not get to try the good red wine which my boss chose…

Shana’s First Birthday

We are happy to be invited to be part Shana’s First Birthday party at my cousin’s place. Faith was really excited about attending the party as she will get to meet her cousin Zoe and baby Shana. Zoe being one of her favourite cousins; she enjoyed playing with her.

My cousin kindly prepared catered food for us as it was a very small party at their cozy home. We were among the privileged ones to be invited. It was more like a gathering for the adults and family members while the kiddos were enjoying themselves with toys and their companions.

I remembered visited Florence at the hospital when she gave birth to Shana and now she has turned ONE. Shana is such a cutie and really happy that she is growing up healthily and I wished that God will continue to bless her abundantly.
