Dinner@Da Wah

It’s been a long time since we had a dinner gathering. Peter kindly invited us to dine at Da Wah which is located in Majestic Hotel down at Bukit Pasoh Road. I have heard about it but never been there till last night. It was really great to dine with ex-colleagues whom we dun meet often.

It is one small boutique hotel situated at Bukit Pasoh Road which is actually near Chinatown and I was surprised by the design of the lobby where there were so many different types of designer chairs and displays. It was very nice and chic.

The Chinese restaurant was Da Wah. Heard from Steven Kaiye that it has been there for a long time and it has been revamped recently. The private room was impressive with simple decoration and lightings. The food there was delicious though. Love the e-fu noodles as it’s not as soft as those normal ones you eat outside. It was tasty and not salty. The rest of the dishes were great too, mmh… the unforgettable dish would be the tender beef man… very nice lor…
Beijing Duck
Beef

e-fu noodles

Boutique Hotels are different from the normal hotels you seen in town, even the restrooms were cool. We took some pix in the restrooms and we enjoyed the cool lightings and decors… really cool man!!!

Mmh… the dessert was simply great as well. Most of us ordered different desserts. I ordered 3 scoops of ice-cream… normal lah but it was refreshing lor.

After dinner, most of them left for home sweet home and we went to Majestic Bar which is just beside the hotel. It was a small bar but packed with people. We sat and had some drinks and by then, Peter was already drunk! He was talking non-stop and mostly nonsense!! hahahahahah

Anyway, thanks Peter for the wonderful dinner… cheers!
