CNY Day Two

We set off in the late morning to hubby’s aunt’s place for lunch and in fact, we were the second one arrived. The rest of his relatives arrived slowly and by 1pm, the humble house was filled with adults and children.

There was only one dining table and we had to take turns for lunch… The food was great though it was the usual dishes that we will probably taste for the next few days. After distributing red packets to the kids and hanging out with the cousins, we left as it was getting quite crowded.

We rushed off to my buddy’s place. Bird kindly opened house this year as I couldn’t accommodate this time. When I arrived, most of my friends were already there and started snacking on the food she prepared.




It was a total different feel when you visit your relatives and friends. Being with my own friends was extremely relaxed and fun as we talked about anything and everything. As usual, we will snack and do silly things!


Children were playing in the rooms and we adults entertained ourselves with their toys! Yes, we sort of like the kids’ toys… I sometimes wondered why… mmmh… we are still YOUNG!




We didn’t stay long as there will be school for the kids the next day and though it was a short gathering but it was definitely enjoyable.
