When we arrived, it was still pretty early … yes; we sneaked out earlier as bosses were out. Anyway, when everyone was seated, our food was served immediately. Our 1st dish was Yu Sheng; our favorite during the Chinese New Year period. Chinese believed that it’s pretty auspicious to have ‘Lo Hei’ aka Yu Sheng for good luck… weird but it’s somehow a tradition.
We didn’t wait too long for our dishes to be served but at a comfortable speed. We enjoyed our favourite Samsui ginger chicken the most especially their special ginger sauce… it was simple delicious!
There were other mouth-watering dishes like tofu prawns, ah kon fan shu leaves, Penang fried mee suah, sliced fish with ginger & spring onions, black pepper venison and diced thick mushroom with bean curd skin & broccoli.
Though it was an hour of party but somehow it was enjoyable…
Happy Birthday Aggie!! May you be filled with joyous moments and be in the pink of health. Cheers!
