Reunion Dinner At In-Laws

We started our reunion dinner early as sister in law will be having another dinner in Johor Bahru where her in-laws are.

Mother in law prepared so much food for steamboat and brother in law brought some super good beef ball from JB. Steamboat is usually the traditional reunion dinner since I was young and I am very glad that we are still practicing it. I hope this will go on from generation to generations.

After dinner, we celebrated Nicholas’s birthday (our nephew) in advance as he will be in JB on his actual day falls on New Year's Eve. Earlier before dinner, Genevieve (niece) & I went to buy the cake from Awfully Chocolate at VivoCity. We did a little bit of shopping too before heading home to help out.

Anyway, he was somehow surprised that we celebrated his birthday. He did not have a slight idea that we will be doing that… (Adults can hide things well). He was overjoyed and the little ones got excited when they saw the cake with lighted candles. They were clapping as we sang the birthday song.

Happy Birthday Nicholas! Love you very much!
