Our City Tour In Hong Kong

We went for our free half day city tour this morning but Maggie & Amos stayed in instead as they have already been to the places before.

Our first stop was to taste the local dim sum breakfast which cost us HK$60 per pax where 8 pieces of dim sums & porridge were served. It wasn’t the best dim sum I tasted… still prefers the one at Central… sighz…

We proceed to visit Repulse Bay where the rich & famous lives. Our guide showed us the rich & famous’ like Stanley Ho, Jackie Chan, Danny Chan’s ex house & Li Ka Sheng. Man… they were huge I tell you… in the picture below, the highest red house belongs to Jackie Chan.

Then we hop on the boat ride to tour the fishing village at Aberdeen. It was interesting ride as we could see how the fisherman lives on their own boats and we saw some boats selling salted fish too. Besides, the guide showed us Jackie Chan & Stanley Ho’s personal yacht. Really cool stuff man.

After the city tour, we brought parents to Shang Wan to get their dry goods and man, they actually went crazy buying those stuff. It was too much to carry and we went back to our hotel to rest and wait for Maggie & Amos.

In the evening, we toured Ladies Street and indeed the place for the elders. They enjoyed shopping there and bought quite a bit of stuff. For myself, I had mine share too…*smiles* As we walked, the street became really stink and I realized it was smelly beancurd. Father-in-law was excited and Maggie bought a piece for him to try since he has been never tried before but hubby was afraid of the smell and went to the next street… hahahaahahaha…
