Moon Cake Festival

This is one festival that our family will come together to celebrate it. As it’s school holidays, we had our dinner gathering at in-law’s place on a Monday night.

Hubby and I went to ta bao food to my in-law’s place as MIL wasn’t too convenient to cook after a bad fall last month. As she is resting and recovering well, we want cheer her up at the same time as she has been blaming herself for not being careful and causing loads of inconvenience to the family.

She was really happy to see the grandkids and I do trust that they are the reasons that made her happy and smile again. Over dinner, we chatted and did a lot of catch up as a family while we were missing Nick who is in Shanghai on a school trip.

After dinner, Maggie brought the kids down to play their lanterns. They were really happy walking around the estate with their lanterns and had so much fun playing with the sparkles.
I always love celebrating moon cake festival as it represents family reunion too. Happy Mooncake Festival everyone!
