F1 Pit Lane Experience

I am one of those 2000 winners who managed to win a pair of tickets to enjoy the F1 Pit Lane Experience on a Thursday evening before the official event starts tomorrow.

After our quick dinner at Mrs. Pho located at Beach Road, we walked over to the event and to our horror, we saw a never-ending queue at the entrance and we had to walk to the back to join the queue for the entry. I believed that many came very early to queue to enter but we were 15 minutes earlier before the actual time of event and we were almost at the end of the queue.

Thankfully, the doors opened on time and they started allowing people to enter the event area though it took us about 20 minutes to enter. The whole place was filled with F1 fans as many were seen taking pictures of the vintage cars that were on displays and many were at the merchandise stalls.

We walked around the area and there were live performances too and food stalls all around. There was a huge stage too and they were testing out lightings and sounds while we were there. It was pretty exciting I would say if I am here on the actual day of event.
After buying the merchandise, we went to join the queue for the Pit Lane walk through. There was a long queue too but we joined in as we too want to check out the pit lane as that’s what we were there for. We queued for about 45 minutes and finally stepped foot on the pit lane. It was simply amazing and we were able to see the cars, engineers and their control stations… it’s super WOW!

As we were walking on the Pit Lane, we spotted Charles Lerclerc and he is really good looking!! He has a small built and walking back away from the Pit Lane. Perhaps he is returning to his hotel room to rest for tomorrow’s practice.
It was such an excitement to be able to step food on the Pit Lane as usually only celebrities or millionaires are seen there. Super happy to have won this and I am happy that hubby was happy to join this event though he was upset that we had to queue so long for everything!
