They were so nice to host dinner at Casa Manini
located at Serangoon Gardens. It was a very cozy restaurant with friendly lady
boss serving us with good attitude. We were given a seat near the entrance but I
would say it’s a lovely seat as we got all the greens around us.
We browsed through the menu and we all decided what
to order. The kids went with the truffle fries and the spaghetti aglio olio E gamberi,
while we had the salad, vivaldi pizza, lasagna classica, buratta pasta, risotto
al funghi and cotechino & lentils. The food was good but the portion was
quite small for sharing so, you will tend to order more to share if your group is
big.
Dinner with the Ngs is always entertaining and
enjoyable. The two families shared almost the same interests and we have lots
of topics to talk about besides discussing our trip to London. ๐ While the adults were enjoying our chats and
wine, the kiddos were busy with their drawings and colorings entertaining
themselves.
We ordered their homemade Tiramisu for desserts
and it was not too bad. Soft and tasty but I would prefer the cream to be
richer. Overall, thumps up for the food and service.
Thank you Mike & family for the sumptuous dinner
and we will see you soon in June! Have a safe and pleasant flight back to Perth!
