Family Reunion Dinner

I guess this would be the first year we have our reunion dinner at a restaurant. Yearly, we will have steamboat reunion dinner at my in-law’s place but this year is rather special. We did not want to trouble my mother in law as she has been busy preparing for Maggie’s delivery of her 2nd baby.

We went to Prima Tower for dinner and it has been a decade since my last visit with hubby. I remembered we went there for dim sum and that was our first & last. The food was pretty good but not sure why we didn’t consider that restaurant for our family outings…

The restaurant has definitely done some renovations as it looked really nice and cozy. We ordered their CNY set dinner menu and the price was reasonable. As usual, the first dish was Yu Sheng and it became my 3rd for CNY. It looked simple but it tasted good; not too sweet and the crackers were generous. With that, looks like we gonna HUAT this year! Hahahahaah

I am happy that the food turned out great especially the egg white with crab meat. Simply DELICIOUS! Our set menu included a Peking duck and served in two styles. First, they gave us the usual wrap and next stirred fried the duck meat with golden mushrooms to be wrapped with vegetables. Very tasty indeed!! The broccoli with abalone mushrooms was great too and little Shevaun simply loved it.
Though it was our first reunion dinner at a restaurant, it was indeed very hassle-free and the whole family had a great time including the kiddos.
