It’s been a long time since our last visit to Golden Peony. Given a dinning voucher, we went ahead to have dinner on a Sunday evening.
Hubby done all the ordering of dishes while I entertained our little Faith who wasn’t able to sit quietly… hubby ordered our favorite dishes like roast pork and char siew combination, vegetables with garlic, claypot bean curd with seafood, shark’s fin egg, black pepper beef, grouper cooked in 2 types of sauces and e-fu noodles.
As the restaurant was quite quiet on a Sunday evening, our food was served shortly and infact dashing out of the kitchen right to our table… of all the dishes ordered, our favorite was the claypot bean curd with seafood. It was really tasty and the bean curd was somehow special. Super YUMS!
As for desserts, mum & I ordered our favorite cream of avocado with ice-cream. That is SUPER YUMS and nothing can ever replace that. Hubby tried the traditional cream of almond as usual…
It was indeed a wonderful evening at GP and hopefully we will be here again soon…*winks*
