Happy Birthday Mummy Dearest

Though mum’s birthday falls on a weekday where we are all at work, we still managed to have a small celebration for her at home. After work, I picked up the pre-ordered dishes from her favorite kopi shop near her house.


We ordered the Asam fish head, prawn roll, vegetables and the fried egg for Faith… hahaah… we can’t leave her out for her grandma’s birthday celebration. We made a point to be home earlier than usual and yes, we managed to be home by 7:30pm… thanks to the smooth traffic.

We enjoyed all the dishes except the fried egg… I thought it was quite oily and didn’t let Faith to have much. In fact, she wanted to try out the asam fish!! Sighz…

After dinner, we set up for small cake cutting ceremony where Faith was extremely excited about. She kept saying ‘Cake, cake, por por’s cake mummy!’ while she was seated on her high chair. We sang mum the birthday song, though Faith very much would love to join in the singing, she only could managed a couple of words…

We all love the cake ‘Fair Lady’ from Polar which wasn’t sweet and best of all, it was coated with white chocolates… *winks*
