Today history is made… Barack Obama has won the 2008 U.S. presidential election, defeating Sen. John McCain to become the 1st African-American President. It was an overwhelming victory of 349 votes to 163.
Though I am not an American, I am really excited about his victory, not that he looks better (though true)... but am actually happy that people in the U.S.A. They are now ready for a change. Cool stuff...
Obama, 47, will now begin his transition to the White House. He will be sworn in at the 44th president on 20th January 2009.
