Sunday In Kuala Lumpur

It will be our last day of outing in KL today and we woke up early to have a good breakfast. Hubby happened to chance upon a few good Chinese (local) yum cha restaurants but not near our hotel.

We travelled out to the area nearby Overseas Restaurant and found that most of the restaurants are closed. We noticed that they are opened for business at 11am. However, we found a Chinese restaurant which opens at 10:30am and went for it.

Palace Group was the restaurant we had our dim sum breakfast. The restaurant was very big… it’s like a ballroom we used in Singapore for weddings and D&D. They opened only half of it as the crowd is not flooding in that early.

We ordered the usual dim sum dishes but we ordered their special beef briskets and curry fish balls which were very delicious. Faith simply enjoyed the pork porridge with century egg that she actually finished the whole bowl! The char siew bao was equally delicious and yes, Faith also finished about 11/2 half of it…

After lunch, we went to Time Square as the kids wanted to have fun. When we arrived, I was quite taken aback with the place. It was big though with a in-door theme park but the place seemed to be like our very own Lucky Plaza… many small shops selling almost the same items.

Tired of walking in Time Square, we travelled to KLCC for a better shopping spree. Though things are more costly but it’s definitely a better shopping mall than Time Square. It was very crowded as usual but we were happy to do some shopping at shops like Zara, MNG, Isetan and friends managed to get good bargains at shoe shops for their kids.

Theresa recommended us to dine at Madam Kwan, their local food located at KLCC. The food they served was similar to our very own Grandma’s but better. The nasi lemak was very delicious.

After dinner, we went back to hotel for an early night to pack our stuff. The kids wanted to have a game of monopoly and we all hang out at Theresa’s room. The kids & I played monopoly and were having a great time while Chloe entertain Faith.
