Hong Kong – Day 7

Our holiday in Hong Kong is almost ending and I will be missing it soon. Hubby & I arranged the family for a dim sum breakfast as we won’t have time to enjoy the HKG dim sum tomorrow.

We went to our favorite Cheers Restaurant located at Nathan Road for dim sum breakfast. When we arrived there, it was although not overcrowded compared to weekends, but there was quite a crowd too. We didn’t wait for long to be seated as we came as a big group of 14.

The food at this restaurant was really good and the price pretty reasonable too. Hubby ordered most of our favorite dishes and everyone enjoyed so much that some were repeated orders.

I would say that though it’s not the traditional push-cart type dim sum restaurant but the quality of the food was really good. The restaurant is big and clean compared to the famous Lian Hiang Lou at Central.

After our delicious breakfast, we went to do our last day shopping at Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay. We went to buy our souvenirs (snacks, biscuits and cookies) at SOGO so that we can arrange the goodies to be packed in our luggage for check in. I didn’t buy many but some for colleagues and relatives.

After some shopping, we went to have our hi-tea at Sweet Dynasty and the place was cozy but seemed to be very popular among tourists. We had to wait to be seated though the lower floor dining was not filled up.

We tried their popular bean curd (tou hua) in a bamboo tub and it was really nice. The bean curd was really smooth and the fun part was we have to scoop it ourselves.
