Genting Adventure

We set off early to Genting Highlands and traffic was pretty smooth on a Saturday morning. It was about 1 hour drive up to the highlands and we decided to stop over for brunch!

Hubby & I tried to locate the delicious wanton noodle shop on the highlands but somehow there was a change of ownership. We decided to have our brunch there anyways. We ordered the wanton noodles, wanton soup and a vegetable. I would say that the noodles did not taste as good as the previous time we visited.

We continued our drive up to Genting after lunch and found that it was very foggy on the way up so, we drove slowly up. When we arrived at the Genting Highlands Hotel entrance, the whole place was foggy and floor was really wet. The weather wasn’t that cold but kind of dry instead.

We moved around the place and ended up at the indoor theme park to enjoy some rides with the kids. The theme park was extremely crowded and queues for the rides took ages. The families moved on their own and for us, we went for some shopping and rides with Faith.

Kenneth & hubby went to Casino for a few games but unfortunately, they lost. We left Genting Highlands before sunset as it will be very dangerous to drive in the dark. We went to KLCC for dinner but Chili’s was full house then. We made our reservation on the spot and went shopping to kill some time.

It’s been a long time since I last dined at Chili’s and the food hasn’t changed a bit. I remembered those days when we used to gather at Boat Quay Chili’s for dinner celebrations.
