Post Birthday Dinner

God-daughter has been busy with her new job and finally we managed to dine together today. Jessie and I invited her to dinner and we settled at Tea House at City Hall.

It was our first time dinning there as the rest of the restaurants don’t look ‘Sexy’ for us to dine… haaa… Anyway, we ordered their popular dishes like the herbal roast duck, sichuan style soup, vegetables, pork ribs and the cereal fried rice.

It didn’t take them long to serve our food (maybe not that crowded yet). The so-called Herbal Crispy Duck wasn’t as crispy as we thought but tasted alright… I would preferred the roast duck at Chinatown man… then came sichuan style soup and the vegetables with salted egg yoke, century egg bits; tasted normal but the soup was damn sour! The pork ribs were not bad actually. Okay, Cereal fried rice… we were quite disappointed actually… the fried rice is FRIED RICE and was top with perhaps a spoonful of deep fried cereal! Wah lao lor!

The dinner was great due to the companion not really the food. We did a lot of catching up as we don’t meet often. It was really enjoyable to hear her travel experience to Vietnam and Cambodia. Kangz… let’s have another round yeah…
