Relieved But Still Heartbroken

We rushed down to NUH to visit Scottie after choir practice in church. When we arrived, I was told that though visiting hours was over but we could still see Scottie with the help of Theresa.

When we arrived at his bedside and saw the little one lying there in pain and with scratches on bruised face, I fought back my tears. My heart was aching so bad coz’ I could feel the pain he was having though he seemed pretty cool about it.

He greeted us and he told us that his wriest broke and he mentioned that he was in pain. He related the story to us on how he fell; he was actually trying to avoid his cousin while cycling on the pavement but somehow he noticed that the brakes weren’t working… man… how terrible!!

Not long after, Bird & Kenneth came too. All of us were so heartbroken to see him in such a state!! We tried to calm him down and told him that he would recover soon if he is a good boy.

Scottie, we know you are a strong boy and you will recover soon! We love you and you will always be in our prayers.
