‘Look, I Am Grabbing Stuff’

We received many beautiful gifts from friends during her full month and some of these gifts came in handy when she turns almost 3 months.

There were a few playmats we received and I chose the most colorful one for Faith to play with. When I first started to put her down on the mat, she was truly excited (guess due to the colors and music). She started to move her hands and legs trying to grab them but she wasn’t able to reach.

Today, I put her down again since she is already getting the hang of grabbing stuff around her when she turns 10 weeks old. I watched her as she started to move her hands and legs. At first, she was not that confident about grabbing the hanging toys on the playmat but I led her hands to it and she grabbed and smiled. (like as if she was telling me … ‘Look Mum, I grabbed it’!!) it was really cute.

Then she tried to kick the other toys right above her legs and she got it too and she looked at me and smiled! I was really excited to see her reacting to the toys and seeing her enjoying herself was a great joy. With that playmat, I was able to do my own stuff while she enjoyed herself by grabbing those toys… A great way to relax… kekekeke…

Youth Olympics Games

It was about a few weeks after the most exciting event of the year ended and I am seriously excited about the YOG which starts officially today. Though I wasn’t really interested in most of the games but it’s the first ever event held; and it’s in Singapore.

I would say that I am really proud that Singapore is hosting this YOG as I think it will somehow motivates the younger generation to do sports and not just playing PC games! The opening ceremony was pretty well done though I wasn’t there physically. However, it can’t match up to the Beijing Olympics ceremony! Oooppsss….

Though our county is tiny but we do have big dreams and I am glad that they have selected Sengkang Sports Hub as one of the venue. I am extremely happy and excited as it’s near my place and bet that my house value will go up… hahaahahah I do hope to watch a ‘Live’ Hockey game at SengKang Sports Hub…

Swimming, Track & Field, Gymnastics, Football are among my personal favourites. I do hope that we as a host nation will be able to get some medals or else it will be such a shame! Go Singapore!

Dallen Turns 1

I was really honored to be invited to Dallen’s birthday party held at Conrad Hotel. As I had to rush off to another baby’s party, I arrived early to send my greetings.

When I arrived at the Salon By The Pool, it was already pretty crowded and I saw the handsome Dallen with his dad welcome guest at the entrance. He was simply adorable and extremely handsome!! Aiyo… Von, I ‘CHOPE’ him hor… hahaahahah

Von whose 1st meeting with Faith was equally excited but unfortunately, Faith was sleeping and no chance to carry her… perhaps next time ah… we had a chat and was really glad that I dropped by for the party as it was beautifully decorated. The theme was blue and white; simply lovely.

Happy Birthday in advance darling Dallen! God bless you always.

Zoe Turns 1

Zoe, my cousin’s daughter turns 1 and we were invited to celebrate her birthday at their new nest at St. George. It was a birthday and house-warming party and it’s for family members tonight.

Their new nest was really gorgeous and the view was fantastic. Cousin told me that when they took over the house, it was really run-down and they had to redo the whole house. I love St. George area though it may not be that convenient but somehow it’s very quiet.

Faith was very well-liked by everyone and some of my cousin-in-law’s relatives even took turns to carry her. She was pretty well-behaved that evening and took some rest at Zoe’s baby cot. I was able to have my dinner freely that day as many were there to entertain little princess.

Finally, it was Zoe’s stage when she had her first cake cutting ceremony. It was really sweet and I guess very soon it will be Faith’s turn to do so… time really flies man…

It was a great party though we had to head home early for Faith might soon gets very cranky… she dozed off during the car ride home…

Happy Birthday Zoe darling!

A Visit To Rie’s Place

My buddy Rie went for a surgery and was resting at home. I guessed she might be feeling bored and I decided to bring Faith to visit her and cheer her up.

After Faith afternoon nap and feeding, I brought her down to Rie’s place at Tanjong Rhu. It was my first time visiting a friend staying there. Initially, taxi driver and I got lost coz’ we weren’t sure of the place.

Anyway, in the end we managed to find it with the help of Rie waiting for us at the road side… hahaah…. Her love nest was lovely and cozy. Simply loved the balcony man…it was big enough to hold party for 20 pax!! KK, cool stuff you’ve got there man!

Rie seemed fine and well rested as she looked great. She had a great time playing with Faith and my baby felt extremely comfortable on her bed… mmmh… KK, you might conceive soon than you planned lor….it’s BABY LUCK!

Thanks for having us at your place today and it was very enjoyable for Baby Faith…Take care!

Baby Faith Turns 2 Months

Time flies and it’s already 2 months since baby Faith was born. I clearly remembered the moment she came out with her hands stretched out giving out a loud cry. That very moment was the beginning of motherhood.

Having taking care of her for 2 months, it was one cool experience that money can’t buy. To be honest, I am already considering of being a stay home mum after 60 days of close bonding with her. I can’t imagine how much I will wake up with her and playing with her when I return to work.

Praying hard that baby Faith will continue to be healthy and happy everyday. Mummy & Daddy loves you dearly… our precious Baby Faith.
