A Truly Blessed Day

We started the day with a special children’s mass at St. Anne’s Church. It was a special mass organized by the catechists and celebrated by Father Bruno. The mass was really sweet and warmth. It wasn’t just a simple mass for children but it somehow taught the children the meanings of the mass and why it is important to stay quiet all the time.
After mass, we headed down to town (which we don’t do that often during weekends) for the Night Fest. We dined at Fish & Co. at Raffles City and we enjoyed our dinner especially mummy and kiddos who gave thumps up for their fish and chips. 😊

It was still early for Night Fest so, we decided to walk around and slowly take our stroll to Bras Basah where the event was held. When sunset, the streets of Brash Basah came alive! We sat outside the S.A.M (formerly known as SJI) to watch the lights display and it was really beautiful! The kids were having a great time watching the lights as well as the music that was playing throughout the light displays.
After checking out a few areas, we decided to head back home. As mass has ended at Cathedral, we walked in and saw some of the people holding candles and offering us to put candles to support Peace & Love for the world. We did as we were told and as we were almost done, I noticed that our William Archbishop was around the area taking selfies with everyone and I hurried to queue up.
He was so friendly and warmth. I really felt so blessed to be able to have a picture taken with him and best of all, he gave our family a beautiful blessing after we were done taking wefie with him. Honestly, I felt the Holy Spirit came through me that very moment he placed his hand on my forehead and I know that God was there with us.

Thank you, Lord for this wonderful evening we spent with the family and it was you who brought us to our Archbishop for blessings and we felt your love Lord.
