Theresa’s Post Birthday Dinner

It’s been a busy February and we have no time to have a get-together birthday dinner for Threz and finally tonight we met up.

We went to Barossa, a cool restaurant The Esplanade. The place seemed new to me and it would be fantastic for us to try out since it’s really near our office. Moreover, it’s been a long time since I last dine at the Esplanade; at the same time… we could visit the Merlion which was at that time in the ‘intensive care unit’ after it was strike by lightening… sad case…

While waiting for Birdy to arrive, we ordered fries to snack. The fries were great but normal… how special can the fries be right… For starters, we ordered salad to share and our mains were seafood pizza and pasta. We enjoyed the salad especially the egg! (We are all egg lovers!)

The pizza was the best dish of the night. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it and man… I regretted not having that on my own! Hahaahahaha… nay… it’s too big a portion for me to finish. The pasta was not too bad though Ron mentioned that she ordered the wrong one! Theresa & Bird shared the lamb chop which they commented ‘delicious’. Simply love the environment and I will definitely return for the seafood pizza soon!

For desserts, we went to Haagen-Dazs at the Esplanade. We were given the menu and shortly we decided to share the ice-cream. We chose our flavors but to our surprise, the staff told us that the flavor we ordered was not available! Errrr…. Shouldn’t all the flavors to be available on the menu? It’s Haagen-Dazs restaurant or café whichever you called it… I thought that was really ridiculous! If the flavors are not available then the staff should inform us before hand. Sighz…

In the end, we went to have desserts at Anderson located at Marina Square. The ice-cream were just as good and prices were more reasonable.

Threz… hope you had a great time as I certainly did.
