Angie’s Pre-Birthday Luncheon

It’s another birthday celebration in the month of March! This time, it’s my darling Angie’s birthday luncheon and Linda kindly booked Putien at Marina Square.

We have passed the restaurant almost everyday during lunch but never had a chance to dine there due to time constrain la… today, we finally set foot in Putien. When I arrived, Linda already started ordering the dishes which is popular (she is their repeated patron and she is our food director!!).

Our food didn’t take long to be served and the first dish was Linda’s favorite dish… sweet & sour pork. It was then followed by beancurd skin with vegetables… OMG, that was delicious man… though the presentation was simple but the taste was simple awesome. Soon after, fried chicken, fried been hoon, Lor Mee (their house special) and spinach with century egg.

Heng Wah Bee Hoon
Spinach with century egg
House-Special Lor Mee

Of all the dishes, the ‘Heng Wah Been Hoon’ ROCKS big time!! I simply loved that! The bee hoon wasn’t too tough or soft; the taste was simple but delicious… it was perfect! Yummy to the MAX!

Lunch is short but we certainly enjoyed ourselves and I hope my darling Angie enjoyed her lunch too…
