‘The Legend’ Gathering

We were invited to Linda Lim’s club at The Legends situated at The Fort Canning. It’s my 2nd visit to her club and this time, it’s for mahjong. Though the club is located on a small hill but the facilities are pretty much the same as those bigger clubs in Singapore, just that it’s slightly smaller in size.

We were all excited and looking forward to hang out together and before we even set off to our destination, we began taking pictures at Millenia Walk like as if we were tourist!

Before heading to the mahjong and karaoke session, we had dinner at ‘The Café’ where they served both buffet dinner and a-la-carte dishes. While waiting for our food, we took some cool and nice pix (that’s the usual thingy!) The food we ordered were good and at reasonable price.

After dinner, Linda, Angie, Susan & Patrick proceeded to their ‘Game Room’ for their mahjong session. The room was cozy enough for mahjong players and game watchers. As for the KTV room, it was very big enough to occupy 15 pax comfortably… The only minus point were the ‘un-updated’ songs. They were so old that it brought us back to our good old school days.

While some were playing pool outside and 4 others having a stressful mahjong game, Anna & I were enjoying our own ‘concert’ in the KTV room… it was so fun when we sang some of the cool old songs like ‘Love in the 1st degree’ & ‘I heard a rumor’ by Bananarama. We were dancing to the songs and it seems like Mambo at Zouk!! Hahahaa… it was simply funny.

Not long after, those who were playing pool outside came back to join us in the KTV room and it was Philip who started to perform….hhahaahha… it was hilarious... he sang ‘Billy Jean’ by Michael Jackson and even danced to it. Next he was acting like Bee Gees while he sang ‘Night Fever’. There weren’t updated songs so, most of us sang oldies but we had loads of fun with it.

Though it was a simple night out with colleagues but it was certainly enjoyable. Will be looking forward to the next one…
