Cousins invited us to join in the celebration
of Shana and this time, the venue is kind of far. It’s in Jurong! You will
never find me in that part of the country unless I have to attend some parties
or events. It’s way too far for me to get there.
Arrived at this Jurong Gateway and seemed like
a new mall but not so new when we entered the building. I felt like I was in
one of the shopping malls in JB. It was pretty big I must say and noticed that
they had this huge looking supermarket.
We headed straight to the restaurant where the
party is held and were seated quickly. We browsed through the menu and decided
to order the food to share. The kids were more excited to play with their
cousins than to have their lunch. We asked them for a time-out so that they can
complete their lunch before the cake cutting ceremony and continued with their
own games.
The food was not too bad and the portion was
pretty good. The salmon steak I ordered was really nice and so was the pasta
for the kiddos. Shortly after lunch, we helped to gather the kids at the center
table for the cake cutting ceremony. It was really a very quick one though and
the kids began to burst off to play with their game and checking out their
goody bags which were handed out to them.
The party continued when my cousins brought the
kids to the indoor playground which is located on the same level but the other
side of the mall. They bought tickets for the kids and they were given 3 hours
of playtime but 3 hours were too long for us.
I went to check them out while hubby enjoyed
his coffee at the restaurant. The indoor playground was big and I noticed that
the kids were having a ball of a time climbing up and down. Little pumpkin was
really thrilled to be in the pool filled with plastic balls. She was playing happily
by herself while the rest of the kids were playing slides, climbing the nets
and running over the cushioned stairs. It was indeed a heaven for kids and I wished
we had those during our days.
Thank you for having us to join in celebration
of Shana’s birthday and we wish her a blessed birthday!
