She went to school as usual and we surprised her
with our visit in the mid-morning to celebrate her birthday with her school
friends. She cried the moment she saw us at her classroom and wanted me to
carry her. We tried to calm her down and began the celebration almost
immediately.
She wasn’t comfortable at first during the singing
of the birthday song but when she was alone with the cake, her face lighted up.
She did not really care about her friends and teachers as she wanted to be with
us instead.
We brought her home to change and went out for a
family lunch at Seletar Mall. It was more like a normal luncheon for us as we
had too many parties for her before her actual date. We gave her treat to Hockey
Pokey for about 2 hours where she had so much fun with the slides, the dolls
and enjoying time with her sister.
After dinner, we brought out the pressies she
received from her birthday parties and she was really happy to have them all
opened. She was excited at each gifts she took and told me how much she liked
them.
