Birthday Party At School

This year’s birthday party at school was very simple and quick due to the Covid restrictions. Parents were not allowed to be in school during the celebration but able to watch from the outside.

I decided to make cupcakes instead of buying a whole cake this year since there is covid restrictions and I guess it will be easier for distributions. When her teacher opened the cupcakes in class, the kids were filled with excitement and they seemed to love it. She cannot wait to choose the cupcakes with those cute little figurines and when she saw the goody bags, they got crazier! Hahaahahahaha…

The teacher gathered the kids around the table with a certain distance for photo-taking and then the birthday song. Little pumpkin was happy, and she too sang along with her friends. It was a fast one and I told the teacher to keep the cupcakes for their teatime as they will be having their luncheon soon.

Well, the most exciting part of the party would be the distribution of the goody bags! Teacher Illi got the kids to sit down quietly while little pumpkin called out the names of her classmates one at a time. She then handed the goody bag to them as she received with a huge smile. ๐Ÿ˜Š

After the short party, little pumpkin stayed in school for her lessons while we headed home. When she came home from school, she excitedly reported to us that all her friends loved the cupcakes and their figurines. She was so happy celebrating her birthday at school but sad that it would be her last time. She sadly said that she will miss celebrating birthdays with her friends and teachers. Awwww……

Thank you, teachers, for your wonderful cooperation for assisting us with Emma’s birthday party. ๐Ÿ˜Š
