I still couldn’t believe that our 1st
born will be entering the next milestone next year and here we are in her
future school queuing up for registration.
This day has finally come!!! I have heard so much
about the registration from friends, colleagues and even my family members who
kids are already in primary school that some school might need balloting as
early as Phrase 2B. Worried? OF COURSE!
I have always wanted our daughters to be in a
convent school and would very much love to put her back in my old school but
had that opted out due to distance. We decided to put her in CHIJ Nativity
instead which is considered nearer to where we are putting up.
We arrived in school early this morning having no
idea what to do (1st time parents) but it was very much easy as
there was many friendly staff from school to guide us through. We were given
numbers to wait and went to the counter to submit the application forms and the
rest of the documents like our marriage cert, baptism cert of parent, child’s
birth cert and a copy of her medical record from her health book.
After which, we were asked to proceed to the room
to wait for our turn to officially register our child to the school. The whole process
was over within the next hour and we will wait for the results in 2 days’ time
to check if there is a need for balloting. If there isn’t any balloting, our
application is considered successful! Keeping our fingers CROSSED!
