Happy New Year WORLD!

Today is the last day of our holiday in Hong Kong and returning to Singapore tomorrow. We are totally so NOT looking forward to be home but guess every happy moment got to end so that the next adventure begins.

After breakfast at Conrad which was really good, we went for our last minute shopping at Causeway Bay and Wan Chai. Yes, managed to get my boots and clothes for the little one. Though there were more things to buy on my mind but I had to resist coz’ we were heading to a play.

We bought the tickets two days before the play as we saw the high recommendation and reviews about the play ‘Micro Sex Office’. When we arrived at the theatre, the lobby area was not as glamorous as our Esplanade but you may compare it with our back then Kallang Theatre. It was a local production (something like our home-made Dim Sum Dollies’). The play was about Sex and sex harassment occurred in the office. The play was in Cantonese and it was really hilarious; totally something new to us.

After a two and half hour play, we decided to have an early dinner since we skipped our lunch due to late breakfast. We decided to have steamboat once again at Dou Heung Wan Chai which was not too far from the theatre.

We were the first few customers at the restaurant as it was pretty early for dinner (around 6pm) in Hong Kong. As usual, we ordered our favorite dishes and it was indeed a delicious & enjoyable dinner. I will definitely miss the food when I am back to SIN.

This trip, I thought I will miss tasting my favorite egg tarts but on our way to the train station, we passed by the shop we wanted to have our tea yesterday. Honolulu CafĂ© is one of the recommended places for afternoon tea and their famous food would be the egg tarts and Po Lo Bao. Since we were still full after the steamboat dinner, we decided to buy some for our supper… hey… it was really tasty man… in fact, they are on par with Tai Cheong’s egg tarts…Yes, it’s that GOOD!

How come your hub looks like a Japanese with long hair? Actually he looks quite funky with his curls. :)
