Emma Is 2 Months Old

Time passed so fast and I am already into my 3rd month of Maternity Leave... in no time, I will be returning to office and slog... :(

Celebrating Agnes’s Birthday Lunch

Though I may be still on maternity leave but I certainly wouldn’t mind joining luncheon at Golden Peony to celebrate Agnes’ birthday!

 It was great to meet up with the ladies after birth and being able to hang out for a little while. Leng ordered all the dishes and we even include Yu Sheng although CNY is still three weeks away. That would mark my first Lo Hei for the year. 

I have always enjoyed the food at GP but this time, I am more restricted as I am on maternity. There are certain foods I have to avoid for 100 days and they are seafood, duck, beef and goose. However, Leng managed to order food that I can take and somehow fits the rest too. Perfecto!

It was indeed a great luncheon get-together as I did not need to rush back to office but was able to go shopping after a heavy lunch… hahaahahaha

Welcome 2015 Dinner

My boss is ever so sweet to organize dinners or luncheons for any occasion. This time, he hosted dinner to congratulate me on the new born and welcoming the brand new year.

Knowing that I had to care for the little one, he chose the restaurant near to my place so that it will be convenient for me to travel and of course, we love that restaurant! When I arrived at Pietro, they were already seated and started ordering the appetitizers though I was on time…hahahaah I supposed they were very hungry!! 

As usual, I will be the one ordering the dishes while boss will take over the wine. I ordered the ever favourite dishes like the truffle risotto, truffle pizza, squid inked pasta etc… the dishes went on & on though we were almost stuffed! 

Finally, we managed to save some space for desserts which was really delicious! The lava cake, pana cotta and the new lemon thingy… (ooopsss…. Can’t recall what that called)…

Jan Babies Celebration

It's a month of loaded birthdays but I am happy that I can join in the celebration even though I am still on maternity leave... hahahaah

Today, we celebrated our buddies Vivian & Hairon's birthday at The Ship. I have not been to this branch as the one at Serangoon is much nearer for me. It was already pretty crowded when we arrived but we were happy that we still had our window seats thanks to the Vivian's reservation.

As usual, we just ordered our food without waiting for the rest as they were running late. I was really excited to eat there as it's been quite a while since my last outing... indeed the food was great and pretty value for money... definitely will be back again!

Our 1st Gathering In 2015

Though everyone is busy with their own stuff, we still try to meet up once a month to bond… I arranged this gathering right after my confinement ended and before heading back to work.

This time, we lunched at Basilico, Regent Hotel instead of our usual hi-tea hang out. 

I simply love the food there as their spread is totally worth paying. Luncheon included a fantastic spread of hams, salads, cheese, pizza, pasta, meat items and not forgetting their super delicious desserts area.

Though it was a simple 2 hour luncheon meet up but it was certainly an enjoyable one through conversation and the time spent was really fun!

Let’s do it again next month ladies!

God-grandma couldn't make it for Emma's full month party and came by today to check out her little pumpkin pie..
