This year, being the last year of Faith’s attending
child-care before stepping onto the next milestone, she is pretty much sad
though excited about the party. She was telling me that she will not be able to
celebrate NDP with her school friends from next year and she will be missing
the teachers too. awwww…. *sob sob*
They were all dressed in red in representing our
flag’s colors for the celebration. We parents, prepared food for pot luck as a
contribution to the party while the teachers planed the rest. J Faith enjoyed the
parties held in school yearly and she has always returned home with a big smile
and with some national day songs to share with us.
I am really happy that the schools are teaching the
kids to sing songs relating to NDP celebration and educate them with the
history of our country. I really appreciate the teacher’s effort though they
might be too young to understand. Thumps UP!
