Lady Faith’s School Party

I would say this would be the busiest time of the year for me as I will be tied up baking birthday cake for our beautiful first born.

This year is no exception, tried out to bake her My Little Pony cake with some decoration help. It was quite a pain doing fondant but this time round, it turned out pretty nice though there are still some flaws here and there.

We requested her party to be done in the morning as we have other plans for her in the afternoon. When we arrived at her school, she was all set and ready for the celebration and so were her friends. They gathered around that little table to check out her cake while I revealed it to them. They cheered that the cake was pretty and they simply got excited.

The teacher helped to gather them around the table for photo-session before they start singing her the birthday song. She was all smiles and proud that all her friends loved the cake. We too were happy to see happiness on all the cute faces in her class. They sang the birthday song loudly and then followed by the cake cutting ceremony.

Faith gave out her goody bags to her friends and they were very happy to see their names on both files and note books which were customized. I was happy that they liked it as to all effort I had put in were worthwhile.

Brought the birthday girl for a movie and though it was a simple celebration, she was happy that we spent time with her on her special day. I do know that it is so important to spend each occasion with them as this is one of the best bonding and creating memories moments that will not come twice.

The day did not end there, we brought her to her favourite Italian Restaurant Pietro for dinner and they surprised her with a chocolate lava cake as her birthday cake. She was overjoyed and finished them all quickly to be home for her presents opening ceremony.
The moment she has been waiting for was finally here – OPENING OF GIFTS…. She opened each gifts with care while I told her who they were from. She was happy to receive many gifts from mummy’s friends and of course her ultimate gift was from US.

She was guessing her present from us but was incorrect till she saw the box… she gave out a loud scream and it’s the Star Lily she wanted ever since she was introduced by her Aussie friend Bella. J She fell in love with Star Lily the moment she set her eyes on her and couldn’t stop thinking about this beautiful pony which made sounds, moves and responses when you pet or feed. J
Faith told us that she had a wonderful birthday and we were happy & thankful to God for having her as our daughter.

Happy blessed birthday sweetheart! May God continue to watch and protect you always! We love you dearly!!!
