Emma’s First Christmas
I am happy that I can celebrate this beautiful season of Christmas at
the comfort of my own home as I was told that my due date was 22nd
Dec. Emma decided to see the world on 7th Dec instead as I guess she
is loving mummy… and would like us to have her join us for the celebration!
We prepared food and Sheryl made the delicious log cake for our
desserts. It was a simple but yet wonderful, joyful celebration this year. It is
indeed our joy and we really thank God for our beautiful Christmas gifts!

Welcome Home Emma
After staying at the ICU for a week, she is finally able to discharge
and come home. Before heading home after her discharge, we went to the chapel
at the hospital to have a presentation to the Lord ceremony as she is indeed a
God’s gift to us.
Everyone was excited to see her at home especially her grandparents. My
confinement lady was happy and guess today will marks the beginning of her
sleepless nights…

Hello Little Missy
This morning I was experiencing some leakage of
water and did not think much about it as my due date is 23 Dec which is about 2
more weeks to go. I continued to read the news on my iPad while Faith was
having her milk.
About 5 minutes, I felt the water again and I thought
my bladder is malfunctioned… I got up and went to check but somehow not too
serious. After taking my shower, I monitored myself and did not think much
again. While I was talking to Faith, I felt the water gushing again and this
time, I was panic! I made a phone call to mum and she asked me to check myself
in.
When I got to the hospital, I was sent to the
delivery room and the nurse checked on me though I wasn’t sure. I had no
contraction or bleeding so, they left me there to rest. After an hour, they
came back to check on me and told me that I am dilating from 2cm to 5cm though
no pain yet. I was confused but I continued to watch my HK drama series as I wait
for the contraction.
Another hour had passed and this time, I felt the
contraction coming and told the nurse to get my epidural ready. After the
epidural injection, I felt more relieved and now I am really waiting for the
little one to arrive. My doctor came about an hour or so after the injection to
check on me and he told me that I am doing well and ready.
It was all too quick and the next moment, little
missy was out and put in front of me… she was really beautiful and tiny but I was
still in shock! I guess she is really bored in my womb and want to get out early.
Welcome my little missy… Emma Tiana See

Maternity Leave Celebration
As you guys already know that I will be popping pretty soon and today being the last day of work for me, my boss arranged this wonderful maternity leave celebration for me… :0)
We went to dine at Pietrasanta located at Portsdown Road and I am sure that I will be enjoying some of my favourite foods before I confinement for the next 1 month. I am not sure when will baby girl arrives and certainly hope not tonight…
We ordered many of our favourite dishes like the calamari, cold cuts and white wine as our starters. It was a super relaxing evening for me as I will be on leave from next week till I return to work in March. I am going to feast out like no tomorrow…. Hahahaahah
As for entries, I ordered squid inked pasta, risotto, arabiatta to share and boss ordered more wines too. We had the roast chicken for our mains and at this time, boss ordered another round of calamari as it was so tasty!
Though we had so much food to stomach in but we had to eat the desserts to end this super wonderful dinner. We ordered the creme brulee, panacotta as well as the lava cake. I simply love the creme brulee not because I am pregnant but it was really really DELICIOUS!!!
We enjoyed the food, wine and as well as the lively, funny conversation with each other. I am sure I will be missing these guys though I can’t wait to be on leave… hahaahahah
