Secretaries’ Week

We were invited to lunch at Angus House with Minowa-san today as we celebrated Secretaries’ Week.

Initially we were wondering which Ramen Shop he planned to bring us for testing (which usually is the case). Today, to our surprised, he suggested Steak instead and we were very happy to follow his idea.

We left the office around 12:15pm and were heading to Ngee Ann City for once! We were quickly seated and we all had set lunch with 150g of tenderloin and 1/2 dozen of fresh oysters.

1st came the fresh Oysters and their hot baked bread. 2nd came the soup of the day (Cream of Asparagus)simply awesome with the bread. The salad came right after and was really delicious and I understood from them that the salad dressing was home-made. Cool stuff.

The main course was simply delicious and indeed perfectly cooked. The meat was so juicy that you would want to ask for more… perhaps 500g!! While we were enjoying our lunch, we talked about office stuff too and jokingly told Minowa-san that he should bring both Linda & myself to Japan on a business trip since our GM kindly allowed Officers & Senior Officers to travel on business at least once a year.

Anyway, back to desserts, the tiramisu was superb man… it wasn’t too sweet and soft but just the right textures that make you crave for more… mmmh… would like to go back there perhaps for dinner sometime…
