We used to have lunch with every GM in the past and this time is not exception though it’s after 2 years of his assignment here.
Today, we had the pleasure to be invited to lunch with our GM Kitagawa-san at Rakuzen at Millenia Walk. It was a casual luncheon with him where we shared from office issues to our hobbies.
It was quite a fruitful lunch with him as we were told that he would like Officers & Senior Officers in our branch to visit our overseas branch offices or even customers at least once a year to learn and be motivated. Somehow or rather, it was a good approach to us as we have been stuck in the office for years and it’s getting bored.
Kitagawa-san even suggested that we should have a membership at a fitness club, oversea trips, or even some enrichment classes. It was indeed great ideals but somehow it can’t be done with only 1 or 2 person’s effort.
Our conversation became interesting when we suggested having an oversea trip to Bangkok as a company to replace the Family Day and the Bowling Tournament. Guess GM will be taking serious thoughts about the trip.
Though having lunch is GM is not as fun as having lunch with own buddies, but it was indeed a very fruitful one as at least we know that he really cares about the staff here. Overall, I think he is one good GM who takes his staff seriously and concern about them.
