It is soooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful!!!
This place is very popular among the locals who prefer to get a shallow dip or
sit by the rocks to enjoy the breeze and view. To us, it’s simply a beautiful
sight!!!
We continued our journey to Margaret
River and stopped over at The Chocolate Factory which is famous for their
chocolates. The kids went crazy over the chocolate tasting area and they almost
finished all the chocolates in the bowl. Lady Faith started hand-picked the
chocolates for her friends and teachers as souvenirs from Australia. Initially,
she wanted to get individually chocolates for all her friends and teachers but
that will end up too costly so, we decided to get different flavours in bigger
bars instead. J
After checking out the shops in Margaret
River Region, we headed to Swings Taphouse & Kitchen for our luncheon. We ordered
some pretty good dishes like pizza, salads, pastas etc. to share. The food was
not fantastic unfortunately and yet quite costly for simply meals. I guess we
can get better quality food back home.
The Margaret River Region is basically a
very small town with pretty interesting shops nearby and though we would like
to explore more but we had to head back to Yallingup for our horse riding
appointments.
We were on time for our horse riding and
after a short briefing from the ‘cowgirls’, we rode onto our horses and off we
go! We chose the ride to the forest and man… it was simply an extra-ordinary
experience indeed. Lady Faith was able to control her pony and she looked
really confident and comfortable on her pony. The one hour horse right through
the forest was so fun and eye-opening that it felt like only 10 minutes
instead. We wished we could have a longer ride to explore more…. mmmh… perhaps
the next time.
We are truly blessed to have Chef Mike
with us as he was the one who made us dinner while we headed for our forest
adventure.
Thank you Mike & Stella for whipping
up a good dinner and looking after our little Emma while we were out… J
