Teachers prepared food like sandwiches, muffins, brownies, fried bee hoon, fried rice, dumplings while students packed sweets, snacks and titbits.
When entered her school this evening, teachers led
us to the ‘tuck shop’ area for our food shopping. We saw our lady Faith getting
herself busy selling the parents her cakes which she was put to take charge of.
The moment she saw us, she pointed out the food that she wanted us to buy and
told us to help buy her food from her friend’s store.
It was really interesting to see her friends and
lady Faith standing behind the stores selling their food and snacks. Some even
explained to us what they were selling while some just told us to buy as they
told us that ‘business weren’t good’… hahahaahahah
This is one great way to get the children learning
how to count and handle cash as to prepare them to Primary One in 2017.
