Faith’s Birthday Celebration Continues

We went to dine at Pietro Ristorante as this is one of Tabi’s favourite Italian joints. We were caught by surprised that the wonderful staff kindly prepared the cake for our little lady who was filled with smiles!

She was overjoyed to see the surprise cake to be served and the staff sang her the birthday song. The joy and wide smile on her face is priceless. We truly appreciate the staff’s warm gesture towards our little lady. Thumps Up! 

Back home, we already prepared one of her favourite chocolate cake for our own celebration too. She was once again thrilled to see another birthday cake for the third time today. 

Sweetheart, we truly wish you a happy blessed birthday and we hope you had enjoyed your special day. We Love You!

Faith’s Birthday Celebration At School

It has become a yearly affair that Faith celebrates her birthday at school for she wants to share this happy occasion with her friends too.

We arrived at her school during slightly before their lunch began and the kiddos were already waiting for our arrival. When the cake and goodie bags were taken out, there were cheers and wide smiles on their cute little faces.  

Faith was overjoyed to see the cake that I made for her and some of her friends also told her that her cake is beautiful which melts my heart. Her Chinese teacher gathered the kids round the table for photo-taking before the cake cutting ceremony. They were really obedient and everything went smoothly.

They took turns to have photos taken with Faith and then sang the birthday song loudly too. Faith was filled with joy and she was really excited to cut the cake but they were told that the cake will be given out during their tea break.

We were happy to see the joy in the children during the celebration and am glad that they like our goodie bags to them.

Faith Turns 5!

Our little baby girl is growing too fast! From a baby girl whom I used to hold her closed in my arms and now she is growing up into a little lady!

Today our little lady turns 5! Wishing you a very Happy & Blessed Birthday sweetheart. We love you very much and may God shower upon you with loads of happiness and good health.

My First Attempt

It’s a yearly affair that I will bake our first born her birthday cake for her school celebration. This year, I tried to attempt fondant icing for her cake instead of the usual chocolate fudge.

It was easy to bake the chocolate cake and the chocolate fudge but the fondant seemed to be quite a challenge! I tried to roll the dough with icing sugar but somehow it was not easy to have it stay the way I wanted… I got to admit that I wasn’t really good with dough and guess I need to practice to do better in future. 

It took me about half an hour to get the dough flatten and covered the whole cake. I was really filled with pride after being able to get it done nicely… it looked plain but it looked better after decorating it with marshmallows. Now, it's ready for her school celebration tomorrow!

It will be a surprise for our first born and I hope she likes it… J

Happy Emma

We are truly blessed with this little happy baby... she tends to smile the moment she wakes up and laughed aloud when she is happy or excited.

I will be missing these moments as she grows... with a blink of an eye, she is already turning 6 months old very soon...

Faith’s Turning FIVE

How time flies!!!! Our first born will be turning 5 years old in a few days’ time and today, we celebrated her birthday with the company of relatives and friends.

During her past birthday party, we catered more to the adults but this time, we decided to kids’ interest at heart. We organized the birthday party at Marche located at Suntec City as it was convenient and lesser crowd compared to the one at Orchard. 

The party planner had programs well planned for the birthday girl where they included some games before luncheon. They had a few rounds of games such as musical chairs & passing of items. It was pretty fun for the kiddos and bet they had fun. We also arranged a balloon sculptures for the party and it certainly added some joy to the children too as they were able to request for their favourite designs.

Besides the kids were having fun through both games and balloons, they were enjoying their playhouse in Marche too while the adults enjoyed conversations and food. It was good for us to meet up with friends and enjoy good conversations over lunch.

The party planner also helped gathered the kids to the child’s table for the cake cutting ceremony and we went on to sing her the birthday song. To our surprised, the Marche Mascot came out to entertain the kids after the birthday song had been sung. I guessed it was the timing that was not too perfect…. We had a good laugh anyway! 

Faith enjoyed very much this time and so did everyone. Thank you friends & family members who attended the party and thank you so much for the lovely gifts!

Cutie Pie Jana

Buddy Dior is back from overseas and we met up for dinner at Orchid Country Club this evening. We became closer when she joined Mama Emily & me for Alpha Choir which eventually ended.

Though we do not meet often but we are glad that we are still keeping in touch closely. I missed the chance to meet up with her when she returns from Philippines during Chinese New Year period and her sweetheart Jana's baptism.

Today, I finally get to meet this little lady Jana and she is super duper cute!! She is such a sweetheart that she kept her smiles even when a stranger (me) carried her. awwww... very melted!!!!

Hey Dior, let's meet up again when you return to Sin again yea... miss you!!

Mother's Day

This year would be slightly special as I have an additional angel celebrating Mother's Day for me. Our little addition, Emma who arrived last December celebrates her 1st Mother's Day by giving me a wide lovely smile this morning!

Faith on the other hand, made a pretty pink paper flower in school and gave it to me. I am really happy to receive handmade gifts and though it's not fully made by her but she added some effort too.

Thank you angels for making this Mother's Day a extraordinary one. I love you!

Emma Turns 5 Months Old

Just a blink of an eye, almost two months has passed the day I returned to work. Today, Emma turns 5 months old and she is becoming more active, wanting more attention from everyone and more playtime...

I am truly blessed with my mum & parents in law to be there taking care of little Emi while we are off to slog at work...
