Happy Birthday Sheryl

In the past, we don’t get many chances to celebrate birthday for Sheryl as she was flying then. This year, we managed to have a small party for her at home. Maggie bought her sister (Sheryl) a cake and had a small celebration after dinner.
Happy Birthday Sheryl!

Dinner With Alpha Buddies

Emily Mama kindly invited us to dinner at The American Club. It has been a long time since we last met as we were no longer serving Alpha.

She brought us to dine at their Chinese Restaurant, The Second Floor which was first visit. In fact, I didn’t know that there is a Chinese Restaurant in American Club…. Hahaahah… usually we will dine with her at their café located at the lobby or café that served good pizza at the pool side.

She ordered all our favorite dishes like wasabi mayo prawns, French beans with minced pork, roast chicken, pan fried bean curd skin, black pepper beef cubes and the delicious home made tofu with mushrooms. For desserts, we ordered their lava cake topped with vanilla ice-cream. It was YUMS!

I was really surprised that the food was so good. The quality of the food is really good as well as the quantity! The portion was good enough to feed 5 hungry adults… hahaahahah… I am really glad to have them as my buddies though we do not meet on every Thursdays anymore, but we are still close…

Thank you God for giving me such wonderful pals.

Faith & her ‘Friends’

We are blessed with friends who love our little Faith so much that they showered her with toys. Out of the lot, I am proud to say that a few were won by me during our trip to Hong Kong last November.

She seemed to like the stuffed toys pretty much that she will cuddle them and at times, put them on the floor where she sits. When she leaves for school every morning, she will walk to them to bid goodbye and greets them when she returns home.

The Conrad Bear is one of her favorite as that would consider her first stuffed toy. She used to hug it everywhere she goes (in the house) and even have it placed beside her when she sleeps. Now, she only plays with the bear when she is in the living room… guess she is bored with the bear…

Weekend Meeting

Hubby and I made a point to visit his parents on Saturday ever since Faith started school. In order to continue to strong bond with her grandparents, I brought her to in-laws place earlier to play with her cousin Shevaun before dinner.

The two little ones seemed to have a love – hate relationship. They love to play together but when it comes to toys, they will fight each other. That is really interesting to watch… despite the fight for toys, Faith enjoys the company of her cousin as they will baby talk to each other only both of them will understand…

Today, it seemed like they simply love each other that they preferred to cuddle than to have dinner!!!

Happy 21st Month

Our little girl is growing up to be a little girl soon. She turns 21st months old today. I am glad that she is enjoying school and learning quite a bit of stuff from school.

With the help of iPad, she is able to read and recognized A-Z, named the stuff passed to her. She is getting more expressive especially when she is not happy with certain things.

Darling, wishing you a very happy 21 months old and may the good Lord continues to bless you with good health always. We love you very much!

Mizuki’s Full Month Party

Time passed so fast… Little Mizuki is celebrating her full month today. We were honored to be part of the celebration at Singapore Chinese Swimming Club.

When we arrived at Kam Boat, Chinese Restaurant in SCSC, many of her friends and relatives were there. We went straight to greet the proud parents, Zhong Li & Rie and their little precious daughter who was enjoying her milk then.

The couple ordered a cool set lunch menu for us. I am quite surprised that the food tasted quite delicious in that restaurant the presentation was simple. I personally enjoyed the roast chicken, the dim sums (spring rolls). I was actually busy entertaining Faith as she was rather cranky due to lack of sleep.

Fortunately, Airi came over to play with her and at least I was able to eat in peace for a couple of minutes. We were happy to see my confinement lady and meeting our God-daughter was a great joy…

Happy Full Month Darling KIKI!

Happy Birthday To ME

This morning, I felt someone tapping on my tummy and when I opened my eyes, I saw a pair of large eyes staring back at me. It was little Faith who was lying on my chest tapping my tummy trying to wake me up. She then turned to give me her morning kisses and man… what a great start to my birthday!

Hubby was on leave and we went to have dim sum luncheon at Red Star with parents in law and mum. When we arrived, it was super crowded but we decided to queue anyway. We did not wait long to be seated thanks to mother in law’s friend who happened to be on duty.

As usual, we ordered the few favorite dishes but some of my favorites were sold out. We were surprised that some of the popular dishes like the stir fried glutinous rice and steam fish head with black beans were sold out. We were told that we have to wait for about thirty minutes if we placed an order. Anyway, we skipped that and ordered other dishes.

After lunch, we went to visit Rie and her baby at her home. It was somehow a unplan visit since we were out. When we arrived, her hubby, his mum and the confinement lady were surprised to see us. Mdm. Chong brought us up to the room where the little sweet baby was and was sleeping so soundly. Faith was excited to see baby Kiki and started calling ‘mei mei’…

Little Kiki woke up for milk and I managed to carry my little cutie pie… carrying little Kiki reminded me of my Faith when she was that little not too long ago…

For dinner, we decided to dine at home as I preferred to be comfortable. Hubby bought a cake for me and we had a little celebration after dinner. I had a great time today though it was simple but what matters most was the companionship of family members.
