Birthday Dinner With Hubby

Hubby came to pick me up from office today and we set off to dinner at Mohamad Sultan. We had an intention to have Japanese food but most of our ideal places were crowded.

Finally, I suggested that we should try Shin Minori Japanese Restaurant located at UE Square. I had been there once with my church mates and it was pretty good. When we arrived, there was a short queue but those were with reservations. For us – the walk-in diners, had to wait for at least an hour. However, there was a couple who were leaving and the kind waiter told us to wait as he will try to assign the table to us. Guest the lucky star is shinning on me...

We were seated not long after and started ordering our dishes from the a-la-carte buffet menu. There were so many dishes we wanted to order but didn’t know where to start. We ordered the sashimi, the yakitori and many more…

Hubby ordered so many dishes that we were so stuffed that we were hoping that the waiters with dishes will pass us by… we enjoyed the free flow of sashimi as they were fresh and tasty!

Thank you Baby for spending the evening with me… Love ya!

Birthday Celebration With Office Buddies

After receiving a big ang pow from office buddies, I bought them their favourite luncheon today. Linda & Jessie kindly prepared the luncheon in our dinning room for our feast!

As usual, Linda will be the one in-charged of the dishes to be ordered and she never fail to order all our favorite dishes like asam fish curry, prawn rolls, fried egg, prawn paste chicken wings and some vegetables. It was indeed a super delicious lunch!

About tea time, they prepared a cake for me in one of our meeting room. The cake was bought by my darling Angie! She definitely knows what cake to get for me… thanks darling! Though it was a very short & simple celebration but I really appreciate their effort and thoughts.

Thank you my wonderful pals for this wonderful celebration! Love you guys! *muaks*

Birthday Dinner With Buddies

It’s really a blessing that I am able to celebrate my birthday with my close buddies all these years and as usual, we went to dine at Oscar’s.

When I arrived at the restaurant and seated, I was surprised by some of my friends from Conrad Hotel with a huge bouquet of beautiful flowers. I was really touched by their gestures… though we work close together but they treated like a friend instead of client.

Dinner at Oscar’s has always been good especially with the company of close friends whom I knew since I was little. As usual, our dinner never fail to have laughter… that was the reason why I requested for a corner coz’ we can be pretty loud!

The food at Oscar’s was very good and all of us enjoyed. Half way through the delicious dinner, my weird friend had to perform some ‘eye’ stunt! Hahaahaha…. Hope you are not shocked by the picture I posted!

We were greeted by the Oscar's staff with a birthday cake during our desserts and I was really surprised by their arrangements. Since the desserts at the buffet stations are better, I brought home the cake for little Faith.

Ever since Faith came into my life, I had to be home early so that she will sleep early. She will only gets onto bed if we are all home otherwise, she will try her best to keep herself awake till everyone are home. Sighz… how not to be home early like that right!!!

It was a fantastic night with my beautiful buddies and thanks for sharing this dinner with me.

Love you guys!

CNY Gatherings

Today is a busy visiting day as CNY is almost coming to a close. After mass today, we rushed to the first stop – Jessie’s place for luncheon. When we arrived, many of her relatives were already there and my two close buddies too.

It was one of the gathering venues for all of us yearly but this year, it was rather different as Jessie told us that there will be something special awaits us… after luncheon, while chilling out, she came to us and get us to stand by for the ‘God of Fortune’!

I was really excited to check it out and when I saw the ‘God of Fortune’, I was too afraid to be close to him… he has a very thick make-up and everyone had to make way for him as he blessed the house. After he blessed the house, he signalled the family members to gather round the dinning table for the tossing of Yu Sheng! The interesting part was… he did not even speak a word… only signal what to do. After that, he distributed ang pow with 4D numbers to everyone in the house… (not sure will strike or not!) However, it was indeed a good experience!

We set off to Mummy Florence’s place after the interesting party at Jessie’s place and when we arrived at mummy Flo’s place, some of my friends had already arrived and playing mahjong in the room.

While waiting for the late comers, I took some food for Faith to keep her settled as she was trying to grab all the CNY goodies from the coffee table. Though Yoshiko’s daughter was around and wanting to play with her, Faith was too shy to respond… Sighz…

Hubby went to join them for a game of mahjong while I took care of Faith which was quite a headache! The only few minutes that she was still was when she was drinking her milk! After hubby’s game, we left for home…

Thank you Jessie & Mummy Florence for having us today! Gong Xi Fa Cai again!
