Light Lunch

As we will be heading for Loi Hei tonight therefore, we decided to have light lunch instead. Subway sandwich will be the usual light lunch for me; moreover, it’s my favorite.

Lunch will never be bored whenever Angie’s camera is around… we are always ready pose and take silly pictures…

Till then…

Hotelier No More

I was pretty upset when she broke the news to me that she will be leaving the hotel industry. We have built our friendship way back in those days when there weren’t so many hotels around… hahahaa…

She is such a wonderful Sales Manager and I would regard her more like a friend than an associate. We decided to throw her a farewell lunch at Soup Restaurant today together with a few close colleagues but in the end, she was the one who paid for the lunch! (really Wah lao lor!) Needless to say about the food, it was the usual favourite dishes we ordered and enjoyed of course…

During lunch, we chatted about her new job and though we were sad to see her leave but then again, we were happy to know that her new challenge will be a greener path for her. She mentioned to us that it will be totally different market coz’ she is extremely tired of hotel industry.

We would like to thank you for being such a wonderful and accommodating Sales Manger and hereby we wish you all the best in your new venture and please keep in touch yeah… you will be missed man…

CNY Gathering AT Florence’s Place

Florence moved into her new nest recently and she kindly invited us to her place for CNY gathering. The moment I arrived at her place, I was totally taken away by how huge her house were. The hall was so huge that she could probably hold a small concert there.

Her decors were simple but classy and I simply loved her master-bedroom! It was beautiful, big and had a walk ABOUT wardrobe!! Yes, neither walk-in nor walk-out but WALK ABOUT wardrobe! She told us that her previous owner had the walls knocked down (two rooms into one); that was why it was so big.

Almost everyone brought food to her place as it was supposed to be potluck style. As the rest arrived slowly but surely, there was more food on that little table. Most of them were home cooked. Everyone loved the Ngoh Hiang made by Linda’s hubby who is known as a very good cook to most of us. Yummy!!!

The MJ Queens were already playing mahjong even before I arrived and not longer after, another set of players for mahjong were formed. The rest of us were moving around the house chatting, snacking and watching the mahjong games.

Finally before dinner time, the players decided to rest and we started to play card games. Black Jack will never be left out during CNY period coz’ it’s an all age’s game! We were interrupted in the middle of the game for Yu Sheng and everyone went over to Loi Hei and it was really funny when suddenly Peter yelled ‘HUAT AH’… it was definitely appropriate… hahahaahah… I didn’t expect that to come…

After dinner, the Queens started their mahjong again and this time, with two new faces. We left after having desserts… it was one fantastic gathering.

Thank You mummy for having us at your place though it wasn’t completely ready.
